          - 06.-08. April 2016, 5th  Scientific Workshop
          The  5th ICanHear Scientific Workshop will be hosted by the ExpORL at KU Leuven from  6 to 8 April 2016. A preliminary programme is available for download. 
        
        
          - November 2015, ICanHear film
          The  ICanHear film is finished and publicly available on YouTube now. Thanks to  everyone who contributed to it. Special thanks to Alan and Federico for doing  an excellent job producing the video!         
        
        
          - 13.-16.10. 2015, 4th Scientific  Workshop in Erlangen, Germany
          The  4th Scientific Workshop was organised by Sivantos in Erlangen. Fellows were  trained in IPR and patent topics and spent two days on training tasks related  to the ICanHear Open Development Platform. 
        
        
          - The Third Scientific Workshop  is coming up soon. It is organised and hosted by DTU and will take place on  April 8th – 10th, 2015 at DTU and in Copenhagen. All fellows will have the  opportunity to present and discuss their research projects. Training activities  include a Speedgoat workshop and an entrepreneurship training. Among other  activities there will a meeting on the planning of secondments. A draft  schedule for the Third Scientific Workshop is available. 

 
        
        
          - Mid-term review meeting in  Bochum, November 11th, 2014. The overall progress of the project will be  evaluated by a representative of the EU and an external reviewer. 
 
        
        
          - Second Scientific Workshop in  Mechelen (Belgium), August 27th-29th, 2014. The workshop aimed at providing  generic and technical skills training. It included a scientific writing and a  time management course as well as talks about the developing process of  cochlear implants and about programming DSPs. All fellows presented their  research projects and discussed
            ideas for future work.        
 
        
        
          - Winter School in Wildhaus  (Switzerland), February 2nd-7th, 2014. The Winter School provides basic  training for the research fellows, engages them in team building activities,  and encourages scientific creativity. The value of scientific work in international  networks is emphasized as the fellows learn to appreciate their individual  strengths in diverse teams. The general theme is based on the question of how  signal processing in hearing instruments can capitalize on new insights into  the function of the auditory system. This open ended question guarantees  stimulating and controversial discussions.
 
        
        
          - First Scientific Workshop in  Bochum, September 24th - 27th, 2013. The workshop provides a platform for the  fellows to present developments and ideas within the network. It includes  scientific and generic skills training. Agenda
