Servicemen's Readjustment Act (GI Bill), 1944 - Seite 1/2

An act to provide Federal Government aid for the readjustment in civilian life of returning World War II veterans. Signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on June 22, 1944, this act, also known as the GI Bill, provided veterans of the Second World War funds for college education, unemployment insurance, and housing.
