The chair for MEMS materials from the Institute for Materials (www.rub.de / wdm) develops new multi-functional materials by using high-throughput methods and MEMS. Focus are on conventional and ferromagnetic shape memory materials, and materials for producing and storing hydrogen.

student assistants


The chair for MEMS materials is continuously looking for students that supports the staff in the areas of teaching and research as a student assistant. You should have a high self-motivation, delight in practice, and be creative. Knowledge of materials science principles and about the technologies of microsystem technology are desirable but not essential.
