Welcome to the

Institute of Engineering Hydrology and Water Resources Management

Our institute has 15-20 members, who are working with computer systems and hydrometric measuring instruments. We train students in lecture halls and tutorial rooms, at computer workstations, in our hydraulic laboratory and in nature. We appreciate your interest and hope you find some interesting facts at our webpage.

We work in the following areas:
  • Academic teaching in the fields of engineering hydrology, water resources management and hydraulic engineering, spatial data analysis, water balance modeling, mass transport
  • Research in the fields of large-scale hydrological modeling, assessment of conflicting goals and synergies of sustainable development, adaptation and mitigation in the context of global change
Courses for the degree programs:
  • Civil and Environmental Engineering
