January 2018: Editorial Advisory Board of Inorganic Chemistry

Viktoria is member of the international Editorial Advisory Board of the ACS journal Inorganic Chemistry. She will be board member for the next three years.

December 2017: Poster award to Jana-Alina Zur

Jana-Alina Zur has won a poster prize on the this year's ITSC Poster Symposium, where she was presenting her In-depth practal on gold-catalyzed hydroamination reactions. Congratulations!

October 2017: New Group Members

Katie McGuire from the University of Glasgow has joint the group as an Erasmus student. Jana-Alina Zur and Ilja Rodstein have started as master students and Maurice Paaßen as new technician in the team.

September 2017: Successful PhD defense and Bachelor thesis

Kai-Stephan Feichtner has successfully defended his PhD thesis on methandiide ligands and carbene complexes. Congrats Dr. Feichtner!!
Daniel Baier, Alexander Kowsari and Angela Großjohann have completed their Bachelor thesis. Congratulations and all the best for the Master studies.

May 2017: New group members

Tobias Stalder (master thesis), Alexander Kowsari and Daniel Baier (bachelor thesis) as well as Ilja Rodstein and Nico Pirkl (in-depth practical) have joint the group. Good luck and lots of fun in our labratories!

February 2017

Thorsten Scherpf recieved an award for his talk at the Ferrocene Colloquium in Mainz. Congrats!!

New paper in Inorganic Chemistry. Our Forum Article about "Metalated Ylides as Unique Ligand Systems" is now online.

January 2017

Lennart's Paper on the electronic structure of metalated ylides has just been published in Chemistry A Eurpean Journal. It is a collaborative work with the Frenking group from the University of Marburg.

Alexander Kroll has strated his Ph.D. thesis on the project "neutral methandiides".


August 2016
Sebastian Molitor has successfully defended his PhD thesis at the University of Würzburg.
