Young Researcher Grant
For enabling young scientists to start a scientific career after their PhD they need an excellent research environment and the participation in scientific networks. Additionally, young scientists often have huge problems to get financial support for their research ideas and to participate in integrated projects and larger research consortia. The goal of this concept is to support young scientists within their first step into a scientific career after their PhD and to keep good ideas and excellent researchers at the RUB.
This Young Researcher Grant concept should give scientists the opportunity to assemble their ideas independently into projects and to benefit from the great infrastructure of the RD IFSC (IFSC Laboratory, IFSC Office; Mentoring through principal investigators of the RD IFSC)in addition to being embedded into a network of excellent scientist.
The Science Manager is also available for all questions regarding this grant, or helping to plan and realize you own scientific project.
