José L. Bermúdez: Rationality: Crossing the fault lines
Because of the tensions explored in previous lectures there is no way decision theory can be interpreted to be a theory of rationality in all three dimensions. But can we simply take it as a theory of rationality in just one of the dimensions? This lecture explores the connections between the three dimensions of rationality. We see how they are connected, so that no theory can play one role without playing all three. This means that there are no prospects for taking decision theory as a theory of rationality.
