The conference venue in Essen is the Essen campus of the university. From Essen main station you can get there as follows: Please take one of the subway entrances (marked "U") at Essen main station, go to platform 1 of the subway. You need a tram ticket "short distance fare/Kurzstrecke". Take one of the underground tram lines 101, 105, or 107 from platform 1 (destinations: Germaniaplatz, Gelesenkirchen Hbf, Fintrop Unterstr). Leave the tram at the second underground station "Rheinischer Platz". Take the exit "Universität", and after a walk of ca. 200 meters and after crossing the "Universitätsstraße" you will arrive at a square.
Enter building 12, where you will find the conference desk.
