Main research

In our research project "Structural, process- and context-related factors mediating the renewal effect of extinction", we are investigating external (context-related) and internal (structural and process-related) potential moderators of renewal. We aim to modulate associative learning processes with pharmacological interventions. By means of various neuroimaging techniques (e.g. fMRI) we intend to reveal brain regions, functional and structural connectivity as well as structural brain features that are involved in extinction learning and renewal.
