Successful project review meeting

eMuCo
On the 10th of March 2009 the eMuCo consortium had its first review meeting with the European Commission reviewers in Dresden to explain the project status, advances and issues.

The purpose of the review was to produce an independent peer assessment of the technical progress and results of the project in relation to the contractual work plan as well as to the objectives of the project.

The review meeting was preceded by a preparation meeting, kindly hosted by the eMuCo partner "Technische Universität Dresden" in Dresden. During this meeting the eMuCo consortium had the opportunity to further synchronize the many presentations and demonstrations prepared to show the advances made in eMuCo.

During the review meeting, the eMuCo consortium members explained the status of the project with respect to the work plan and to the stated objectives. The progress of eMuCo 's technical approach was analyzed and the first demonstrators were shown, including Virtual Prototyping Concept, Multicore Emulation Board in RealView System Generator Tool from ARM, Protocol Stack Code Generation by SDL Suite Tool from Telelogic, Load Balancer Concept, L4 Microkernel on Infineon Platform and Timing Analysis. Also the project integration plan and the eMuCo dissemination plan were presented.

The meeting outcome was satisfactory and the consortium will be pleased to include the recommendations made by the reviewers in the future work of the project.
