Scientific career:

  • 2003 – 2008 Study of chemistry at the University of Tübingen. Diploma with Prof. Bernd Speiser, Institute of Organic Chemistry (synthesis and electrochemistry of metal-salen-complexes).
  • 2008 – 2013 PhD (Organic and Electrochemistry, summa cum laude) at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, University of Tübingen with Prof. Bernd Speiser, Topic: Synthesis and electrochemistry of redox active silica nano- and microparticles, fellowship from the Graduiertenförderung des Landes Baden-Württemberg (LGF).
  • 02/2013 – 09/2014 PostDoc at the Institute of Polymer chemistry (IPOC), University of Stuttgart in the group of Prof. Sabine Ludwigs, worked in the field of electrochemistry of conducting polymers and molecular dyads and triads for organic solar cells and electronics.
  • since 11/2014 PostDoc in the group of Prof. Wolfgang Schuhmann at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry (Center for Electrochemistry), Ruhr-University Bochum. Current scientific interests: design of novel redox polymers and their use in biosensors, energy conversion and energy storage systems.
