Great honor!!! Viktoria has been chosen as the recipient of the Organometallics’ 2020 Distinguished Author Award. This annual award is sponsored by the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry, the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry, and Organometallics and recognizes authors of exceptional articles published in Organometallics in the previous two calendar years that emphasize the importance of organometallic chemistry and have made a profound impact on the field. Kai's article on Carbene complex formation versus cyclometallation from a phosphoryl-tethered methanide ruthenium complex was published in the Journal of Organometallic Chemistry.

Henning's first paper on amino(ylide)carbenes has now been published in Molecules (MDPI) in the special issue on carbon ligands 

October 2019: New group members

We welcome Julian Löffler and Mike Jörges, who have started their master practicals, and our new postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Swamy Varre, in the group. Good luck and many exciting results!

January 2018: Editorial Advisory Board of Inorganic Chemistry

Viktoria is member of the international Editorial Advisory Board of the ACS journal Inorganic Chemistry. She will be board member for the next three years.

December 2017: Poster award to Jana-Alina Zur

Jana-Alina Zur has won a poster prize on the this year's ITSC Poster Symposium, where she was presenting her In-depth practal on gold-catalyzed hydroamination reactions. Congratulations!

October 2017: New Group Members

Katie McGuire from the University of Glasgow has joint the group as an Erasmus student. Jana-Alina Zur and Ilja Rodstein have started as master students and Maurice Paaßen as new technician in the team.

September 2017: Successful PhD defense and Bachelor thesis

Kai-Stephan Feichtner has successfully defended his PhD thesis on methandiide ligands and carbene complexes. Congrats Dr. Feichtner!!
Daniel Baier, Alexander Kowsari and Angela Großjohann have completed their Bachelor thesis. Congratulations and all the best for the Master studies.
