DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT Master of Arts
General requirements:
Willingness to work within a group of international students with degrees obtained in a wide range of subjects.
Willingness to go abroad into a developing country during the course of studies and do empirical research for the Master’s thesis there.
Language requirements (for foreign applicants):
Foreign applicants should have basic skills in the German language. Especially at the beginning of the program, special courses in German will be offered.
Language requirements (for all applicants): Certificate of English language skills (TOEFL 550/213, IELTS Band 6 or comparable certificates).
Subject specific requirements:
Bachelor or comparable degree in Political Sciences, Law, Sociology, Economics, or Geo-Sciences, Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Sciences with a documented political, juristic, sociological or economic focus from an established university.
Proven practical experience pertaining to the management of development programs and projects of more than 4 weeks duration or involvement in research and teaching relating to the management of development programs and projects at a college or university.
