Face to Face Tandem

Face-to-face Tandem

A face to face tandem with Ruhr University students who speak another first language involves (normally two) students meeting up for two hours a week and working one hour in each language. When this is in your target language, then you decide what you will do with the time. In the other language you are act as a “helper” to your partner.

Accreditation

Important information about the accreditation possibilities for a tandem partnership is available here:

In order to gain accreditation for your tandem learning, you must keep a written record describing the experience. This takes the form of a tandem logbook. This logbook is also an important base for counselling sessions. As such, it is advisable to bring the book along to all counselling sessions.
