Research Area

Dennis Naujoks studied Mechanical Engineering with focus on Micro-Engineering at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. He received hi M.Sc. under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. A. Ludwig. In the course of his masterthesis, D. Naujoks developed a 6-zone-stepheater to produce materials-libraries with temperature steps and composition gradients, to devolope combiantorial extended diagramms of structure zones. He wrote his thesis in coorporation with a partial projekt of SFB TR 87. He is now using the methods of combiantorial thinfilm materials research to enhance superalloys and to comprehend the influence of alloying elements to the phase stability in NI- and Co-Basic-Superalloys.
