Commission for Teaching
Straight after the election of a new Rectorate, the scope of responsibilities of the Commissions for teaching is determined by the Senate in agreement with the Rectorate in accordance with Article 12 paragraph 2 of the Constitution of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and laid down in the procedural rules of the Senate.
The members are elected and dismissed separately by the Senate in groups. Their term of office is three years, that of the student members one year. The chair is held by the Vice Rector (without voting rights) responsible for the area of responsibility.
