Members of the XIII. Senate of the Ruhr-Universität

The XII. Senate of the Ruhr-Universität includes 25 elected members. Thirteen come from the group of professors, four each from the other three status groups: academic staff, technical and administrative staff, students.

The term of office for the student representatives is one year, and the term of office for the remaining elected members is three years. The Rectorate's members, the Deans, the Chairman of the Students’ Union, the Chairman of the Staff Council, and the Equal Opportunities Officer take part in the Senate meetings in an advisory capacity.
