Supervisory Board
Three men and three women largely determine the fate of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Birgit Fischer, Prof. Dr Dr-Ing E h Ulrich Middelmann, Prof. Dr Karin Donhauser, Jürgen Schlegel , Dorothee Dzwonnek*, und Prof. Dr Daniel Fallon (from left) make up the new Supervisory Board of the RUB. The six, who are appointed for five years, have far-reaching powers. The Board plays a direct strategic role in determining the future development of the university and is responsible for supervising the operative business carried out by the university management.
