Equal Opportunities Committee

The Equal Opportunities Committee advises and assists the university and the Equal Opportunities Officer in all areas of gender equality, in particular in the following tasks:

  • Compiling, implementing, and updating the framework plan for the advancement of women and the decentralised plans for the advancement of women.
  • Making a statement on the objections made by the Equal Opportunities Officer
  • Reconciling family and professional/academic career
  • Security on Campus

The gender and status groups are equally represented on the Committee. The members of the Equal Opportunities Committee are elected by the Senate. Their term of office is two years, for the student representatives one year. The Chairperson is in the Committee but without the right to vote. The Equal Opportunities Officer and their deputies are advisory members of the Committee.
