Kino Endstation

The film programme set up by Kino Endstation in the art and cultural centre Bahnhof Langendreer wins awards on a regular basis. The small theatre with 86 seats does not screen any popcorn movies; rather, it offers its audience the opportunity to discover cinematic gems beyond mainstream cinema. It often screens films in the original language with subtitles. Three to six new films are shown per week – brand new ones, as well as old ones, feature films, documentary films and sometimes even silent movies accompanied by a live music performance. In addition to screening themed film series, Endstation also hosts various festivals, such as "Blicke aus dem Ruhrgebiet".
