The international summer school on Transnationalism: Theory and Empirical Findings will take place from September 22nd to 26th, 2003, in Bochum. The curriculum will focus on transnationalism and transnational social spaces. The Summer School is planned for 25 participants (advanced students with at least a Bachelor´s Degree and young researchers). The working language will be English.
All participants will receive a reader containing selected texts to help prepare them for the summer school. As a contribution to the cost of the study trips and the reader, €50 will be charged upon registration.
Participants from abroad are eligible to apply for a grant of up to €500 travel costs. In order to apply for a grant, please send a CV and a letter of motivation describing your work interests.
