Welcome to the Transnational Social Spaces Network (TRANSNET)

The Transnational Social Spaces Network is an academic work and discussion forum that aims at: discussing and developing the theoretical framework of transnationalism; gathering and discussing empirical evidence on transnationalism; bringing together scholars from all over the world - especially Europe - working on transnationalism; virtually, via this internet portal and face to face, through workshops and a summer school; publishing papers and books on transnationalism. TRANSNET is currently sponsored by a grant from the Volkswagen Foundation.
