30.05.: Visit to the Mayor’s office in the City of Bochum, Thomas Eiskirch

The Mayor of Bochum with his guests from Ruhr-Universität and Hochschule Bochum.During a visit to the Mayor of Bochum, Thomas Eiskirch, on May 30, 2016, talentscouts from Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Hochschule Bochum presented the project. Mayor Thomas Eiskirch: "I’m very impressed with the scouts’ dedication and commitment to their work and with the way they provide helpful advice to school-leavers. Enabling children with non-academic family background to go to university is one of my key concerns. This is why I’m very much interested in the talentscouts’ work." The meeting was attended by: Mayor Thomas Eiskirch, Lars Tata Norbert Dohms, Luisa Kopp, Judith Quester Max Ammareller, Halil Ülker, Julia Zielberg.




30.05.: Cooperation with Lessing-Schule Bochum

In the front Headmaster Saade and project coordinator Zielberg presenting the cooperation agreement between Lessing-Schule and the RUB, behind representatives of the school.Lessing Gymnasium in Bochum has also launched a cooperation with the RUB talentscouts. What am I going to do after my A-levels? Is vocational education the right option for me? How is a university course structured? Talentscout Mira Stepec will be happy to answer these and other questions asked by school-leavers at Lessing Gymnasium. Since she couldn’t attend the meeting in person, Julia Zielberg stepped in. Representing the school, headmaster Frank Saade and deputy headmaster Dr Ulrich Platte promoted the cooperation. Project coordinator on location is Til Schaefer, together with his colleagues from study advisory and career guidance services, Heike Biehl, Dr Stefan Block and Frau Erdmann.

25.05.: Cooperation with Alice-Salomon-Berufskolleg Bochum

18.05.: Cooperation with Willy-Brandt-Gesamtschule Bochum

Headmistress Claudia Högemann and Talentscout Mira Stepec signing the cooperation agreement.Talentscout Mira Stepec routinely visits Willy-Brandt-Gesamtschule in Bochum. All participants are looking forward to long-term collaboration. Headmistress Claudia Högemann, Andreas Wind from the study advisory and career guidance services, and Volker Thiemann as sixth-form coordinator are directly involved in the project.

10.05.: Cooperation with Gesamtschule Hattingen

Headmistress Dr Elke Neumann, talentscout Serhat Demir, and project coordinator Julia Zielberg signed the cooperation agreement on May 10, 2016. Dirk Glaser, Mayor of Hattingen, was also present to learn about the talentscouts’ work.
