Post doc (m/f/d)

Post-doc position in neuroscience - “Multisensory perception”

Your project will address questions pertaining to multisensory processing of auditory and tactile information in rodents. We investigate multisensory processing using a variety of in vitro and in vivo electrophysiological methods and imaging techniques, including two-photon microscopy. In particular, we use genetic technologies in combination with optogenetics and behavioral assays to investigate the contribution of specific cell populations to sensory processing. See Juczewski et al. Neurobiol. of Dis. (2016) and Pauzin, Krieger, Cell Re-ports 2018, for examples of the type of research questions.

Postdoctoral research fellows with a background in neuroscience, bioengineering or biology, and with documented experience with electrophysiology, are encouraged to apply. We offer an international working environment in a lab fully equipped with cutting edge technologies; this includes a state-of-the art multi-electrode array system for in vivo recordings in combination with optogenetics. The position is initially for 2 yrs with a possible extension of up to 4 more yrs.

Application, submitted as one pdf to:
1. Short cover letter describing interest in the position
2. A brief outline of your previous work, including technical experience.
3. CV (including publication list, and two references)
