Ruhr University's SYLFF Activities
The SYLFF committee at the Ruhr University of Bochum follows the approach of supporting the scientific work of young, outstanding scientists on the fields of Europe's development and economic policy as well as on European activities in the humanitarian aid by
- travel grants which allow the students to carry out field research for their Ph.D. or Master degree;
- short-time fellowships in the last stage of studies enabling the students to complete their Ph.D. or Master thesis by contributing to the coverage of the cost of living.
All applications, either for travel grants or for the short-time fellowships, should correspond to the Ruhr University's SYLFF programme. This guarantees the scientific quality of the work supported by SYLFF.
