Students who are Parents
The Ruhr-Universität is certified as a family-friendly university. We make every effort to create the best possible conditions for combining family and studies. This includes a family-friendly infrastructure on campus with a kindergarten, nursing and baby-care rooms, parent networks, and also support for family-friendly organisation of courses.
Students who are parents have numerous possible sources of support, such as the flexible short-time supervision for children at the parents' initiative "Uni-Zwerge". The “Spielraum e.V.” group helps one-parent students in emergency situations.
