Registration
Anyone who has been informed that they have been awarded a place at the Ruhr-Universität or wants to sign up for a course with restricted admission can enrol. The procedure takes place mostly online. During enrolment, students then only have to pick up their documents.
Enrolling on location / picking up documents
Anyone who has been awarded a place for a limited-admission course is informed of the registration date along with the admission. There are registration deadlines for courses with unrestricted admission.
Registration for observers and visiting students
Registration for observers and visiting students is held during the above dates (except for study courses with restricted admission for which notification of the personal registration dates is provided in the admission papers). The observer fee per semester is 100 euros.
