Ruhr Explores Solvation

The Cluster of Excellence RESOLV (Ruhr Explores Solvation: EXC 1069) is funded with 28 Mio. EUR by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) within the framework of the German Excellence Initiative. The project commenced on November the 1st, 2012, and the funding period will end on October the 31st, 2017. Our Goal

At the very heart of RESOLV lies the quest to significantly deepen the understanding of the complex interplay between solutes and solvents at the molecular level. Therefore, our goal is to launch Solvation Science as a new interdisciplinary research field, thus providing a unifying framework in which solvent processes can be investigated.
