Venue of the Summer School

Die Summer School takes place in the rooms of the guesthouse at the Charité hospital (Gästehaus Berlin-Mitte) in the German capital Berlin. The guesthouse is located central, but quiet, only about 400m from Berlin main station.

The seminar rooms are completely new and have modern equipment. As dormitory you may book a modernly equipped, comfortable room in the guest house complex. For further information please refer to the guesthouse at the Charité hospital.

Berlin is a vibrant world metropolis that blends the structural characteristics of Berlin’s 45 years of repressive, communist rule in its east with the thoroughly free market west. Modernizing and repairing deteriorated infrastructure proved a costly challenge to unified Germany but resulted in a livable, safe city with outstanding public transportation.
