The Ph.D. in Neuroscience is based on completion of graduate course work, qualifying examination, research and a dissertation and defense.
Apart from the research work the academic programme includes the participation in several courses.
During the six semesters, the curriculum comprises the lecture "From Molecules to Cognition", lab rotations, practical and methodological
courses, seminars, journal clubs, and soft skills (i.e. presentation and management skills).
All courses will be held in English and can be structured individually. Each student has an individual advisory committee consisting of the thesis supervisor and one additional advisor. The committee will advise, guide and support the candidate in all aspects of academic progress.
