Ph.D.-Programme
The Ph.D. in Neuroscience is based on completion of graduate course work, qualifying examination, research, and a dissertation and defense.
Apart from the research work the academic programme includes the participation in several courses.
During the six semesters, the curriculum comprises the lecture "From Molecules to Cognition", lab rotations, practical and methodological
courses, seminars, journal clubs, and soft skills (like presentation and management skills).
All courses will be held in English and to an extent can be structured individually. Each student has an individual advisory committee consisting of the thesis
supervisor and one additional advisors. The committee will advise, guide, and support the candidate in all aspects of academic progress.
