Rheology of the earth - from the crust to the subduction zone
The main topic - as stated in the title - is the rheology of the earth's lithosphere. The CRC tries to get a thorough understanding of the material properties, involved minerals and the expression of the rheology on the state of stress and deformation of the crust, and the mantle lithosphere.
