Strukturelle und
Dynamische Eigenschaften von Metallclustern auf Oxidoberflächen
Ziel
Objective of the project
is the theoretical investigation of structural and dynamic properties of metal
clusters at oxide surfaces. Neural network based potentials are used besides
density functional theory to allow investigations of the required system sizes.
Especially copper clusters on zinc oxide are studied employing the latter
potentials in molecular dynamic and metadynamics simulations. The focus of the project lays on
characterizing the metal oxide interface and the morphology of clusters under
various gas-phase conditions.
