Supramolecular
ZnOH-aggregates and peroxo-rich TiO complexes - A molecular access to catalysts
and to elementary steps on surfaces
Center of the project is the
molecular access to real-world catalysts and elementary steps on surfaces.
The precipitation process of ZnO supported real-world catalysts shall be specifically controlled
on the molecular level using a newly developed combination of continuous precipitation
in micro mixers with immediate spray drying and intercalation. The simulation
of surface processes during alcohol oxidation on TiO2 and Au/TiO2
proceeds by studying the reactivity of multi core TiO-complexes
and polyoxometalates with reactive intermediates.
