Aktive
studiert. Dafür sind Cu/ZnOx-Cluster mit bekannter
Menge an Cu-Zn2+-Zentren in mesoporösem
SiO2 zu präparieren und katalytisch und IR-spektroskopisch zu
untersuchen.
Investigation of Cu-Zn
interactions in methanol synthesis catalysts using matrix-confined model catalysts
Active
sites at the interface of Cu and ZnOx
species are characterized for their activity in methanol synthesis and their
IR fingerprint spectra along with the impact of matrix effects on these properties.
Cu/ZnOx clusters with well established
quantities of Cu-Zn2+ sites in mesoporous SiO2 are synthesized and investigated
in catalysis and by IR spectroscopy. Additionally, Cu/ZnOx
clusters hosted in carbon nanotubes are prepared
for proving the electronic impact on the interaction of Cu and ZnOx.
Following a conversion to brass it is planned to study the relevance of brass
surfaces for the methanol synthesis.
