Studienangebot des Graduiertenkollegs

Das Studienprogramm des integrierten Graduiertenkollegs umfasst:

· Alternierend im Winter- und Sommersemester die Ringvorlesungen:
„Experimentelle und theoretische Methoden“ (als Blockveranstaltung mit 3-jährigem Zyklus)
„Aktuelle Fragestellungen in der chemischen Industrie“ (mit Gastrednern aus der Industrie)

· Praktische Kurse in den Bereichen präparative Verfahren, analytische Methoden und theoretische Beschreibung

· Regelmäßige Kolloquien, bei denen die Kollegiaten maßgeblich die Gäste auswählen

· Kurse zur wissenschaftlichen Kommunikation und fortgeschrittene Sprachkurse

· Ein jährlicher Workshop, bei dem sich neue Kollegiaten vorstellen

Das Graduiertenkolleg vergibt darüber hinaus einjährige Stipendien und unterstützt die Kollegiaten bei Gastaufenthalten in internationalen Forschergruppen und bei der Teilnahme an internationalen Kongressen. Weitere Informationen erhalten die Interessenten im Sekretariat des SFB 558:

Courses of the graduate school

The courses of the graduate school comprise:

· Alternating in the winter and summer term the lectures:
“Experimental and theoretical methods” (block courses within a 3-years cycle)
“Current topics in the chemical industry” (with guest speakers from industry)

· Applied courses on preparation techniques, analytical methods and theoretical description

· Regular colloquia where the fellows select essentially guests

· Courses on scientific communication and advanced language courses

· An annual workshop where new fellows present themselves

Beyond this the graduate school awards 1-year grants and supports its fellows during guest stays in international research groups and the participation to international congresses. Further information for interested students is available in the office of the SFB 558:
