Short biography

2004–2008 undergraduate education in Asian Studies, University of Bonn. 2006–2007 studied Modern Chinese at Sichuan University in Chengdu. 2010–2013 M.A. studies in Chinese Philosophy (中国哲学) at Peking University. Doctoral student in Bonn and Bochum since 2013, dissertation topic: "The semantic field of 'culpability' in ancient Chinese texts". Summer term 2015: teaching assignment at the Department of Sinology, Institute of Oriental and Asian Studies, University of Bonn. At the Department of Chinese Language and Literature since March 2017.

  • History of Chinese philosophy and religions from the Shang to the Tang Dynasties
  • Semantics of Classical Chinese
  • Ancient Chinese collections of sayings and wisdom literature
  • Chinese intellectual history of the 20th century
