Lebenslauf

Cynthia Forlini is a doctoral candidate (McGill University) at the Neuroethics Research Unit of the Institut de recherches Clinique de Montréal. She is a graduate of Université de Montréal in biochemisty (B.Sc) and bioethics (M.A). Cynthia's research bears on the perspectives of key stakeholders and public understanding with regard to the non-medical use of prescription stimulants for the enhancement of cognitive performance. This research was supported by a doctoral award from the Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ). At the Institute for Medical Ethics and History of Medicine, Cynthia will continue to study the ethics of cognitive enhancement and explore the relationship between recent empirical findings and normative ethical discourses.
