"Maritime Disputes in the South China Sea: Navigating the Diplomatic Waters"

The Department of International Political Economy of East Asia co-organizes international conference on maritime security in East Asia


From 22nd to 23rd November 2018 international representatives from the academia, diplomacy, economics and politics meet in Manila, Philippines to discuss the topic "Maritime Disputes in the South China Sea: Navigating the Diplomatic Waters". In two panels, the conference participants discuss different aspects of the South China Sea Dispute: "The South China Sea Arbitration: What went on before and how to work with the award" and "The Role of ASEAN and the EU for mutual cooperation in maritime disputes".
