International Study Programmes
The RUB has already converted many of its courses to the internationally compatible Bachelors/Masters system (see Degree Courses). Among these are specially designed Masters programmes, or "International Degree Programmes", that are particularly oriented to foreign students.
To gain entrance to one of these programmes you need to have already completed a B.A./B.Sc. or equivalent. These programmes are partially or fully in English, so you must be able to demonstrate a high proficiency in English to gain admission. German language requirements are less than usual or not required at all. In some cases German language courses are offered as part of the programme.
These programmes provide intensive counselling and support. If you gain entrance you will receive help in organising your study and life in Bochum.
