Scholarships
A limited number of highly qualified applicants admitted to the International Graduate School of Neuroscience (IGSN) receive a research scholarship of up to 1,300 Euros per month.
This scholarship is tax-free and will be awarded for a maximum of three years.
For the 2013 Ph.D.-programme scholarships will be available.
An alternative source of funding are the Research Grants and Study Scholarships
offered by the DAAD in Bonn.
These scholarships are granted for the entire 3 years of the research course, often include a German language
course and pay 895 Euros per month plus travel expenses.
The online application generally begins in October for courses starting in October the following year.
Country specific details, in particular deadlines and DAAD addresses abroad, can be found in the DAAD scholarship database.
It may also be worth considering applying for one of the Alßan Programme scholarships, especially for those students coming from South America.
