ABSTRACTS
Each participant may submit a maximum of two first author abstracts. Although this depends largely on the conveners, it is unlikely that two oral first-author presentations are accepted. Authors submitting more than one abstract should be prepared to present at least one of these as a poster. Instructions for oral presentations and poster lay-out will be published on this web site in the course of 2008.
FORMAT OF ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED
Abstracts should be saved as a Microsoft Word document or RICH Text File (RTF), either in Windows or Macintosh version. The abstract must not contain figure items. Please use the template to "copy and paste" your text. Maximum length of abstracts is one page A4 (top and bottom margin 2.5 cm, left and right margins 2 cm, single line spacing, using the fonts indicated in the template in normal, bold or italic and "Symbol" fonts (e.g. δ from the standard TrueType or Post Script set of fonts). Please do not use other fonts, including dingbat fonts.

From late January 2008 until May 13th 2008 abstracts can be submitted as e-mail attachment.

Please ensure that your e-mail message mentions your name, preferred session number and preferred mode of presentation. Note that oral presentations will be selected by the conveners from among the submissions.

Abstracts and field trip descriptions will be published (and sponsored) by the German Geological Society "Schriftenreihe der Deutschen Geologischen Gesellschaft" (including an ISSN and ISBN) number. Consequently abstracts can be cited.
