Probabilistic and Geometric Facets of High Dimensions

Mini-workshop at Ruhr University Bochum, October 9 and 10, 2014

Short description
In the last decades, the understanding of phenomena in high dimensions has become an increasingly important part of mathematics at the borderline of various disciplines such as convex geometry, functional analysis or probability theory. The aim of this mini-workshop is to bring together researchers looking at various high-dimensional systems from a probabilistic or a geometric angle. During the 2-days workshop we discuss recent developments and hope to stimulate future research.
