A ZOMETOOL MODEL OF A HEXAHEDRON

Here we show a zometool model of a hexahrdon (cube), one of the five Platonic solids. For the model you need

  • 8 balls,
  • 12 long blue (b2) struts.

Of course one can scale down the model to b1 (medium size) or to b0 (mini version).

The hexahedron consists of 8 vertices, 12 edges and 6 square faces. Its vertex figure is a regular triangle.
