Overview
In the Economics section of the two-subject Bachelor’s degree, students learn necessary subject-specific basic knowledge, methods and theories, and the skills required for their application. The course especially aims to supplement the education in the second chosen subject so as to teach graduates the economic skills they need to reflect on the knowledge and expertise acquired in their other subject, also taking economic aspects into account and, on this basis, to be able to apply them in theory and practice.

Details
The subject management and economics with the focus on management is only offered as a Bachelor’s degree. The Faculty of Economics also offers a Bachelor’s degree in management and economics.
This degree teaches you necessary subject-specific basic knowledge, methods and theories, and the skills required for their application. The degree course especially aims to supplement your education in your second chosen subject so that you are able to reflect on and apply the knowledge obtained there, also taking management aspects into account.
The areas of specialisation of the faculty are especially accounting, finance and taxation, marketing, labour economics and policy, international economics, environmental, resource, and energy economics, and economic and financial policy. The faculty’s national and international collaborations help students with semesters abroad and practical placements and facilitate career entry.
Application
General requirement: You need at least a high school degree to study this programme. For admission and successful studies a high standard of German language skills is required.
