Personal and corporate consulting, training
The Bachelor’s degree in business psychology is intended for students seeking a position in personnel or management consultancies, human resource departments of organisations, or as freelancers, for example in the training area.
The degree is divided into two areas. The Bachelor’s degree in business psychology is divided into the areas of basic psychological knowledge and business psychology with a focus on human resources and related subjects. The first area includes the subjects of occupational and organisational psychology, aptitude testing and education, and a subject from the related fields of business administration, employment and social law, or occupational sciences.
The second area deals with those skills and abilities in the basic study of psychology that are essential for the education of a psychologist and enable transition to a Master’s degree in psychology. This study of basic psychological knowledge consists of three modules of training in psychological methods, the study of intrapersonal and interpersonal processes (social, differential, developmental psychology, motivation, and action control), as well as general psychology and biopsychology.
