Details
The programme is intended for students who are looking for careers in the field of teaching and learning of foreign languages in non-school educational institutions, i.e. institutions of the tertiary and/or quaternary sector of education both in Germany and abroad.
Therefore the programme consists largely of activity-orientated topics and subjects that are directly job-orientated, e.g. concepts of (foreign) language politics and multilingualism, (foreign) language learning theories and language teaching methods, as well as methods of testing, examination, and evaluation, complemented by instruments of quality assurance and development and concepts of language-learning counselling, in addition to job-orientated practical studies and internships.
The working methods cover for example forms of interactive communication, practical activities and presentation, project work and empirical studies, as well as the design of self-reflective documentaries and portfolios.
