Overview

General requirements: The Master of Education prepares the students for a career as a teacher of mathematics. Students should show an interest in mathematics and its teaching at school.
Pedagogical experience with children and adolescents is therefore helpful as are good communication skills.

Language requirements:
All applicants for the school subject Mathematics must have a good command of English.
Different language requirements may have to be met in the second (school) subject studied. Please obtain information about the foreign language requirements for the second subject by consulting the relevant programme counsellor.

Subject specific requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in mathematics after at least 3 years of study (or a related or comparable degree ) is a prerequisite for admission. Please also note the general regulations concerning subject specific requirements for the Master of Education.

Application

Requirement: You need a counseling interview with the programme´s student counselor before registration. In some Master-Programmes there are more specific requirements. Please contact your student counselor.

More requirements: For admission you need a second subject since all MEd programmes are 2-subject programmes.
