Lasers and Photonics is an issue of strong scientific and economic interest. The Ruhr-University in Bochum, Germany, offers an international Master course “Lasers and photonics”.
In addition to our fundamental courses we offer hands on lab projects, international conference participations, English courses, and projects with international collaborators.

Details
Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB), Germany, offers the international Master programme "Lasers and Photonics”.
The programme‘s highly interdisciplinay subjects in the field of optics, lasers and photonics offer a wide range of interesting topics concerning both current research and a vast range of commercial products and applications. In addition to the fundamental courses in these fields, the programme offers hands on lab projects in modern, well equipped laser laboratories, international conference participations and projects with international collaborators.
The interdisciplinary programme is organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (Prof. Dr. Martin Hofmann, Photonics and Terahertz Technology) together with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Ostendorf, Laser Application Technology), supported (in teaching and projects) by the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy and the Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Bewerbung
Voraussetzung: Für die Einschreibung benötigen Sie mindestens einen Bachelor-Abschluss in diesem oder einen inhaltlich vergleichbaren Studiengang sowie den Nachweis eines Beratungsgesprächs mit der Studienfachberatung Ihres gewünschten Master-Programms. In einigen Master-Programmen gibt es weitere fachspezifische Voraussetzungen, die Sie in den rechts verlinkten Broschüren zum Studiengang finden.
Zur Zulassung ist eine Bewerbung erforderlich. Bitte wenden Sie sich an die Studienfachberatung des Studiengangs.
