Overview
General requirements:
Good command of standard software (MS-Office, Open Office etc.), internet access should be available.
Language requirements:
For foreign applicants: Certificate of German skills in the form of TestDaF (Test „Deutsch als Fremdsprache“, at least level 4x4) or DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang, at least level 2) or an equivalent language test, like DSD (Deutsches Sprachdiplom, Level C1).
All applicants are expected to have good English language skills.

Details
Applicants acn choose between three areas of focus:
Urban and Landscape Ecology(modules e.g. Soil and Vegetation Ecology, Climate and Water Balance, Environmental Problems and Conflicts, Ecosystems Analysis Project, Urban Ecology, Environmental Monitoring).
Urban and Regional Development Management (modules e.g. Theory and Practice of Urban and Regional Development, Development Concepts and Project Management, Urban and Regional Governance, Urban and Regional Ecology).
Geomatics (modules e.g. Hands-on Design of Cartographical Media, Gathering Spatial Data with Remote Sensing Techniques, Geographical Information Systems, Programming, Interactive Multimedia- and Web Cartography, Thematical Digital Image Processing/Soft Photogrammetry, Official Geobasis- and Subject Data, Visualisation of Spatio-Temporal Processes, Geo-databases).
Students can choose one of the three areas of focus and complement it by selecting modules from other areas of focus or subjects. The choice of modules is made according to personal interests and enables the student to design a curriculum which fits their personal requirements.
Application
Requirement: You need a counseling interview with the programme´s student counselor before registration. In some Master-Programmes there are more specific requirements. Please contact your student counselor.
