Overview

There are more elective than mandatory courses in the Master program. The following courses may be elected:

• Inorganic Chemistry,
• Organic Chemistry ,
• Physical Chemistry ,
• Analytical Chemistry,
• Technical Chemistry ,
• Theoretical Chemistry,
• Biochemistry or
• Functional Materials - Design and Application.

Besides receiving expert tuition in the subject students are also expected to work independently.

Start: Winter semester recommendet - enrolment for summer semster is possible but usually no courses for beginners are being offered

Application: Not restricted.

Mandatory Courses

There are a total of 6 mandatory courses:

• Physical Chemistry V,
• the practical Interfacial Systems Chemistry,
• Organic Chemistry IV,
• Inorganic Chemistry IV,
• The focal point practical as preparation for the master thesis
• The master thesis

Elective Courses

There are more elective than mandatory courses in the Master program. You may focus on one of the following topics by electing the proper courses:

• Inorganic Chemistry,
• Organic Chemistry ,
• Physical Chemistry ,
• Analytical Chemistry,
• Technical Chemistry ,
• Theoretical Chemistry,
• Biochemistry or Functional Materials - Design and Application.

Application

Requirement: You need a counseling interview with the programme´s student counselor before registration. In some Master-Programmes there are more specific requirements. Please contact your student counselor.

There are no restrictions.
